May 11, 10:00 - Liturgy for the Feast day of Saint Basil of Ostrog, the patron saint of the parish. Fr. Milorad Delic serving. Potluck lunch will be held at another locatio from 12 noon to 3pm. There will be enough vehicles and room for those who need a ride from the church to the hall.

About us

Our missionary parish is the only Serbian Orthodox Parish in Atlantic Canada. It was founded on December 26, 2001, with blessings of Bishop of Canada.

Our parish priest is fr. Milorad Delic from Niagara Falls.

Services are held in St. Antonious Antiochian Orthodox Church, every 3 months on average.
2480 Windsor St, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Saint Basil, great pleaser of God, help everyone, including me. Great defender of the Orthodox faith, protect us too who hold your Holy Faith, and we approach you with hope. Great archbishop of God, pray to Almighty God for all your people, and finally for me, the unworthy and the last one. Knight of Tvrdoš and ascetic of Ostroš, save us from visible and invisible miseries. The Serbian land lit you as an eternal candle before the throne of the Living God, so now light up our paths and dispel sorrow. With your prayers and tears, you warmed the cold cave of Ostroška, ​​so now warm our hearts with God's spirit, so that we may be saved and glorify the Most High God and you, the Holy One of God. From all over the world, the sick and unwilling came to your life, and you helped them: you drove away demons, broke the bonds of the devil, and gave people mental and physical health.
